PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Mitchell is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit & County Court Mediator. He has over 25 years experience as a Civil Trial Lawyer in State and Federal Court, with extensive 1st Chair Participation in over 75 jury trials for both Plaintiff and Defense. Mr. Mitchell passionately represented his client’s interests, working diligently to analyze the case issues in order to assess risks and achieve positive resolutions to complex legal matters. He has litigated a variety of types of civil cases to include premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, sexual battery, police misconduct and other civil rights matters, automobile accidents, and appellate issues.

Mr. Mitchell is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was a Shareholder with one of the nation’s largest law firms.

OTHER INTERESTS

Mr. Mitchell has served in several capacities as a volunteer. He volunteers with the Florida Justice Center as an attorney helping low-income adults obtain legal services to help them get back on their feet. He also volunteers with Jobs Partnership as an interview coach to help underprivileged adults obtain employment.

Mr. Mitchell is a mentor to students at Killarney Elementary School and, also started a refugee ministry at his church to help facilitate the settlement of newly arrived refugees that have come to the Orlando area via the U.S. State Department. Mr. Mitchell also enjoys his volunteer work with the National Park Service at Canaveral National Seashore and with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
