EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

John L. Morrow spent 30 years with the state wide insurance defense law firm of Conroy Simberg PA. Starting in 1990 he was an Associate practicing in Miami- Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. In 1996 he was selected to create a branch office of Conroy Simberg located in Central Florida. Starting with one lawyer and on secretary and 21 litigated files, over the years under his management and leadership , the office grew to over 20 lawyers , 10 paralegals and 20 support staff , all with internal growth. John has litigated cases in 40 out of 62 counties in the state of Florida . In 2011 John became recognized as an expert in civil trial when he was certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, a level of competence reached by less than 1% of Florida Bar members.

John has litigated over 3,000 cases to resolution. He has participated in over 800 mediations and tried approximately 50 jury trials to verdict. He has represented insureds of nearly every insurance company , alphabetically from AIG to Zurich.

In summary, John spent 30 years working in the trenches as an associate, partner , managing partner, board certified civil trial lawyer , an equity partner , a “rain maker” and businessman ,in the tough insurance defense industry. “ I believe my career advanced because I worked long hours , I worked efficiently , I never gave up , I used common sense and I treated our clients, insurers , Plaintiffs and the plaintiff lawyers with respect.
