EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

John has litigated to completion approximately 2,500 cases in all areas of tort and contract liability, over his 35 years in active practice. John was recognized by the Florida Supreme Court as a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer . During his career John has participated in approximately 650 mediations and he understands what it takes to resolve conflict. John has tried to verdict, numerous , catastrophic injury, wrongful death , and civil rights cases in state and federal courts. He has been a featured speaker at numerous continuing education seminars throughout the country. John managed the Orlando office of a multi-state law firm for 23 years.

John’s experience allows him to understand all legal issues that come up in mediation . He can simplify the issues and effectively communicate the issues to the respective parties. He has the ability to read the room quickly and understand the emotional weight and make all litigants feel heard and validated. He maintains strict neutrality to earn the trust and confidence of all parties in a mediation.
