Ramon A. Castillo
AREAS OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
Mr. Castillo is a fully bilingual (Spanish) Florida Supreme Court Circuit Civil Mediator. He practiced as a civil trial attorney for 18 years prior to becoming a full time mediator. During his career, he handled all facets of civil litigation. As an attorney, he had the pleasure of representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants/insurance companies. He has litigated in State, Federal and Appellate Courts in Florida. In 2020, Mr. Castillo achieved Board Certification in Civil Trial.

PERSONAL
Mr. Castillo was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He moved to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida. In 1994, he graduated and was commissioned as a military intelligence officer in the United States Army. During his service, he was stationed in Fort Bragg, N.C. He completed the Jumpmaster Course and Anti-Terrorism Instructor Qualification Course. He deployed as part of U.N. and NATO operations in Haiti and Bosnia. In 1998, he received an honorable discharge and subsequently decided to pursue a legal career.
Outside of work, he enjoys time traveling, attending UCF sporting events, fitness races, grilling, spending time with friends and family.
